CAT Paving Equipment
Track Asphalt Paver Highlights: Track-equipped asphalt pavers offer superior traction for jobs that require wide pulls or large mix-delivery vehicles. High horsepower and exceptional traction keep everything smooth and consistent, helping to produce a mat without segregation or defects. Models are available with steel tracks for dependable use and easy maintenance, or rubber Mobil-trac™ systems for extra mobility and smooth, quiet operation. All models are equipped with independent feeder systems designed to reduce segregation and handwork. Electronic self-diagnostics on the propel and feeder systems maximize maintenance efficiency and reduce machine downtime.
- Cat engines with ACERT™ Technology provide plenty of power while minimizing emissions. US EPA Tier 3 and European Stage IIIa compliant.
- Steel track and Mobil-Trac™ undercarriages available.
- Independent feeder system designed to eliminate segregation and reduce wear.
- Electronic Control Modules (ECMs) provide easy diagnostics on engine, propel and feeder systems.
- Dual operating stations can be positioned beyond the machine frame to provide maximum visibility.
- Heavy-duty, hydraulic hoppers provide high capacity and resist flexing.
- Hydraulically extendable front mounted and rear mounted screeds available.
| | Wheel Asphalt Paver Highlights: Wheel-equipped asphalt pavers offer superior jobsite mobility for applications that require a lot of paver movement and relocation. High horsepower and excellent mobility help operators place the mat where they want it. Optional bogey wheel assist enhances rimpull to the front and/or rear bogeys, providing increased traction. | | Screed Highlights: Cat asphalt screeds feature hydraulic variable-width adjustment and electrically heated screed plates. They are available in rear-extender and front-extender models. Rear-extender Extend-a-Mat™ screeds are ideal for mainline paving applications where the extenders are deployed wide and the pulls are long. Front-extender Vers-a-Mat™ screeds provide greater control over the head of material that flows in front of the extenders, minimizing handwork. They are optimal for use where mobility and constant width adjustment is required, such as urban or commercial applications.
- Front mount Vers-A-Mat™ models provide great control for urban and commercial applications, minimizing handwork.
- Rear mount Extend-A-Mat™ models provide smooth, consistent results on mainline paving applications.
- Robust design resists flexing.
- Screeds feature electric heating for even heat across the width of the screed.
